About Jed

The operating experience most advisors don't have.

I've sat on the buyer side as a PE Operating Partner. I know what acquirers look for, and I know where founders leave money on the table. What most founders don't realize is that the improvements that drive valuation are the same ones that make a business worth running. You don't have to be selling to benefit from getting this right.

My background is unusual. Most advisors have run one function. I've held C-level roles across CEO, COO, CFO, CPO, and CTO. I've co-founded and exited two companies, doubled ARR on a $30M+ SaaS platform, and built a $270M division inside a Fortune 500. That range matters when you're trying to solve problems that don't fit neatly into one box.

I work with a small number of companies at a time. Concurrent engagements, embedded execution, no ramp time. Some of my clients are preparing for an exit. Others are building something they plan to keep.

Six areas where I step in and own the work.

Operational Execution

Build the governance, cadence, and accountability structures that let the business run without the founder in every room.

Governance & Structure

EOS implementation, board management, operating models, and the leadership infrastructure needed to scale or survive diligence.

Financial Clarity

SaaS metrics, KPI frameworks, pricing strategy, and the financial narrative that buyers and investors actually trust.

Product Strategy & GTM

Roadmap discipline, AI product strategy, pricing and packaging, and go-to-market execution that converts pipeline into revenue.

Exit Readiness

Close the gap between what the business is worth and what a buyer will pay. Retention, governance, product story, and growth narrative.

AI Adoption

Practical AI strategy and implementation before competitors move. Product features, operational efficiency, and board-ready answers.

Who this is for

Do any of these sound familiar?

B2B software and SaaS companies, $3M to $30M revenue, founder-led or privately held.

Trying to grow but need a structural kick-start
Founder is the bottleneck and knows it
Product has plateaued and the roadmap isn't clear
No COO, CPO, or strong second-level leadership team
Eyeing a fundraise or exit in the next 1 to 3 years
Afraid a buyer won't see the true value of what you've built

Two ways to get started.

1 to 2 months · Fixed scope Assessment Project

Diagnose the business. Deliver the plan.

A structured diagnostic that identifies what's actually holding the business back, followed by a prioritized plan of the highest-leverage improvements for your specific situation and timeline.

Embedded execution, without the full-time cost.

I step into the role, own the work, and execute alongside your team. No ramp time. Concurrent engagements available. I show up like it's full-time because the outcomes depend on it.

Outside the work

Built for the long game. On and off the trail.

I'm based in Salt Lake City, which means world-class mountains are essentially out my back door. When I'm not working with founder teams, you'll find me on a dirt bike in the aspens or hiking alpine trails.

Those experiences shape how I think about the work. The same instincts that keep you from losing traction on a loose trail matter when you're running a business. Momentum built carefully gets you further than speed. That's also why I work the way I do. Fractional doesn't mean short bursts. It means sustained engagement, steady progress, and someone who shows up consistently until the momentum is real.

Whether it's for yourself or someone you work with, a 30-minute call costs nothing. Most people walk away with at least one thing they can act on right away.
